I wanted to post this on mani Monday but didn’t. Then I was like Toesday Tuesday doesn’t sound right. Came up blank for Wednesday and couldn’t think of anything but Thumbnail Thursday. 😂 Now it’s Friday. Welp. Here’s a pic of my nails, guys. Happy Good Friday!

Here’s the recipe!

DIRECTIONS
Take the Appleton Farms ham from refrigerator 1 hour before starting.

1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees
2. Place ham in baking dish, fat side up. Add water.
3. Cover tightly with foil and bake for 12-15 minutes per pound or until Ham reaches 140 degrees.
4. Meanwhile, make the glaze.
Whisk all other ingredients together, leaving orange slices for garnish.
5. When ham has reached correct temperature, remove from oven, carefully remove ham and pour out liquid.
6. Place back in dish and brush on 1/2 of glaze, making sure it gets deep into the cuts.
7. Bake uncovered at 425 degrees for 15 minutes.
8. Add orange slices, baste with remaining glaze bake for another 15 minutes.
9. Garnish with orange slices.

I usually take weekends off from the gram, but I had a fun day sharing some of my favorite places to go on a Saturday in Cincinnati.

It’s really an underrated city that’s full of gorgeous buildings and has a rich history. I love it, and there’s so much more for me to explore!

I don’t know what’s happening to me, but how I ended up loving mom jeans, dad sandals, and this sh*cket... (I refuse to spell it out😂) is a mystery, but it’s making me happy. That, and the sun on my back... annnnd the fact that we’ve got time until the cicadas emerge. 🙌🏾🪰

Y’all, it’s cloudy with a chance of CICADAS!😂😂😂

Today I went to Target to buy some front patio updates (rug, a few pillows, and this little chair) and got a text from Rob. It contained a link to an article.

It said that TRILLIONS of cicadas have been laying dormant foe 17 years. And THIS YEAR, 2021, is the year they will unearth from the soil and take over. Soon. Like next week. 😳 see my stories!

So... this is it. Take a long look. This may be the last time you’ll see me outside until July. Or until my beekeeper suit gets here. 😂😂😂. Too far??!!
