I’m sharing a few organizations I’m giving to and that I believe are doing great things.
ONE WARM COAT
If you read my Instagram post you’ll know why I think coats are so important. This organization makes it easy to collect coats for people in need all over the nation. To find a coat drive in your area, click HERE.
Right now, retailers like J Crew, Eddie Bauer and Forever 21 are collecting clean coats and giving back to you! For instance, J Crew is giving $25 off your next purchase of $125 when you bring in a coat to their stores during mall hours.
Consider bringing in a coat or donating monetarily here.
YOUNG ARTS
Yesterday I shared gifting bundle ideas in stories, and I woke up this morning to see that Anthropologie is donating 100% of the proceeds of all of their candles sales to YOUNG ARTS!
I shared these taper candles so if you were thinking of buying candles for you or someone else, consider doing it on today, Giving Tuesday, for the benefit of young artists.
Young Arts support artists of every kind from diverse backgrounds. This organization identifies the most accomplished young creatives and provides them with creative and professional opportunities throughout their careers.

BLOC MINISTRIES
This organization is a local non profit in Cincinnati, serving the people of Price Hill. What I love is that the people involved in this organization actually live and work in the neighborhood they serve, and have an authentic connection to the community.
They provide after school programs and food for kids in the area, long-term service to women survivors of trafficking, prostitution and addiction (housing/long term residency, job training and lifestyle education) and they even provide middle and high school athletes with professional-level sports performance training.
More recently, they are incorporating Equine-assisted activities, a riding program, and urban farming and horticulture into Cincinnati’s West side communities.
And there’s so much more- after school pottery programs, food pantry and teaching kitchens… the list goes on.

Every dollar you give to Feeding America can help provide at least 10 meals to families in need through the Feeding America network of food banks.
