You guys are going to LOVE this recipe. Not only is it delicious, but it is SO good for you! With ingredients like avocado, manuka honey, chai spices and collagen peptides, you can nourish your body any time of year, especially these winter months. The spices and ingredients are anti-inflammatory, antiviral, and antimicrobial so they help with immunity. And as a bonus, they help hair, skin and nails look amazing!
I was inspired to make this smoothie by some of the wonderful ingredients used in my Hair Food products, which I am using long term to nourish my hair back to health. After lots of stress and putting heat on my hair to straighten it, I decided to wear my hair curly and in protective hairstyles rather than straightening it all of the time. And when I really want that straight look, I am wearing a wig to get my fix without putting heat on it! I love a long term journey so that I can thoroughly document it, and I was happy that Hair Food wanted to partner with me on mine. They use healthy food ingredients in their products and include no dyes, sulfates, mineral oils or parabens.
So far, I have been loving their Coconut & Chai Spice collection, which was the main inspiration for the smoothie I created. It has been leaving my hair looking, feeling and smelling completely luxurious and nourished! They also have a Manuka Honey and Apricot collection which is what inspired me to add the nutritious honey to the recipe!
Hair Food’s mission is simple: feed your hair like you feed your body. They believe peace of mind comes from knowing what’s in the product you use, which is why each Hair Food products free of sulfates, parabens, dyes, mineral oil and is PETA cruelty-free!

Chai has so many health benefits- the ginger reduces inflammation, increases circulation, and can help with nausea. The clove is antiviral, a natural pain reliever, and helps with immunity, as does cardamom, which helps to fight off common colds, bacteria and fungus. Cinnamon is high in antioxidants and can help to regulate blood sugar levels. Adding the Manuka honey brings powerhouse immunity and healing benefits! Without further ado, here is the recipe!
