My Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Picks!

I might say this every year, but it is true! One of my favorite things to do around my birthday is shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. It’s because I worked at Nordstrom for years, and each July the sale would often start on my birthday.

It was always such a treat because Rob would pick me up from work (no days off during the Anniversary sale, even on your birthday because it was Nordstrom’s biggest event of the year!) and then I would shop for something special for myself before heading off to dinner.

There was such a fun energy surrounding the Anniversary Sale because it is so different from other sales: Everything is brand new and all about Fall… even though it is the middle of summer. Brands release Nordstrom exclusive, new Fall and limited edition items at a discounted price up to 40% off. They are on sale for a short time, and once the sale is over, they go back to regular prices.

I always had a sense of excitement when helping my customers find great deals during Early Access, while secretly hoping there would be something left for me to snag when the sale became open to employees and the public! Now I get to do the same thing I used to do for my customers, for you! Here are some important details about the sale:

The Nordstrom Anniversary sale is going to be so much fun this year because the shopping windows are shorter, which means more people will have access to some great pieces! If you are a Nordy club member (it’s free and you don’t need a Nordstrom card), you can shop the sale while earning points! Here are the deets:

Online Preview July 3

This is when you can preview everything that’s on sale and create your favorites list. That way when it’s your turn to shop, you will be ready to go!

Early Access

Early Access is for Nordstrom Cardmembers. On your eligible shopping day, cardholders can shop at 12:01 am EST online. For Icons, that’s July 11, Ambassadors July 12, and Influencers July 13 (every cardmember is automatically Influencer status.)

Public Sale

Everyone else is eligible to shop July 17-August 6th, and if you’re a Nordy Club member, you also earn points

MY PICKS: THINGS I OWN AND LOVE

Chantelle underwear are the comfiest ever. Minimal panty lines, and feels like nothing on.

True and Co Bras are a staple- I wear the racerback under tanks.

Nordstrom PJ’s are soft, and a must have all year round.

I will always stan Zella live in leggings, and

these Levi’s are the perfect length and width for wearing with any shoe- boot, sneaker, sandal, you name it.

I have these Good American Skate jeans in two colors and I LOVE them. Size down.

If you are gonna wear birks, patent leather is so good! I wear these around the house and out and about and they helped heal my plantar fasciitis. I have them in white but love the cream with gold buckles!

The Nordstrom CZ earrings are a must and they sparkle beautifully!

Kiehls creme de corps – keeps the skin glowing and hydrated. I have this refill and picked it up again this year.

If you have been wanting to try La Mer, this is the way to go. It’s a set with the original cream. I use their moisturizing cream as my eye cream to keep eczema at bay.

I have the GHD max styler and 1 inch. The temp is perfect to ensure the least amount of damage and the most shine.

I keep the Jo Malone London Wood Sage & Sea Salt wash in our powder room. It smells so fresh! This jumbo size is a real treat and the same price as the original size.

I received the all saints leather jacket without the studs last year as a gift from the company. It is perfect, goes with everything and never goes out of style. This one has studs. Size up two sizes.

And finally, DK Deodorant… you know I am still on that aluminum free kick (never say never, though!) but if you’re gonna use aluminum, Donna Karan is the OG, smells good, and really works.
