Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

If you’ve been following me for long, you know my history with Nordstrom, and specifically, the Anniversary Sale. It happens every year around my birthday and this year the first day of the public sale is actually ON my birthday! 

If you’re new to the sale, basically it’s when Nordstrom partners with brands to release brand new/exclusive/special items at a discount for a limited time.  After the sale, things go back to regular pricing. Typically the items are limited in number, so I try to grab the items I planned on purchasing as early as I can. 

DATES

While the Anniversary sale opens to everyone from July 15-July 31, Nordstrom cardholders get early access. Spend over the year determines your status level.

• June 29: Preview the sale on Nordstrom.com
• July 6: Early Access for card holders with Icon status.
• July 7: Early Access for card holders  with Ambassador status.
• July 9: Early Access for card holders  with Influencer status.
• July 15: First day of the public sale 
• July 31: Sale ends.

For anyone planning to shop the anniversary sale this year, I wanted to sift through and highlight some great purchases. For me, the Anniversary Sale is about purchasing things I currently use at a discount, or things I’ve been wanting to try.  For clothing, I usually find a great jacket, sweater, jeans and boots for Fall.
