Vacation Inspiration

At the end of June we will be traveling to Seattle.  During the summer in Seattle, there is so much to do and see- lots of walking, and the weather is warmer during the day and cooler at night.  I wanted some things that would be easy to wear- for walking, going out to dinner and being near the water. 

I dropped into Nordstrom where I can always find exactly what I need! I found some great pieces that are versatile and so cute.  I will be adding some of my currently loved pieces to create some looks that I can wear in every situation!

First up- I am always looking for some light pants and I loved these. They are cotton, crinkled, and high waisted with an elastic band. These will be great with my body suit, or a slouchy tee. Here I paired them with this button down tank– it’s a cotton linen blend that is true to size and has adjustable straps.  I also think this will be adorable with a denim jacket or cardigan for cool nights. 

Next is this maxi dress.  This is so pretty- it has a thin ribbon adjustable strap, a keyhole in the back and a smocked bodice.  The buttons are covered in a cream crotchet lace. I love this dress! 

Finally, I found this adorable tunic! Well, they call it a tunic but I think it’s a dress because…. it has pockets!! And the back is beautiful.  It has a scoop back with a long adjustable tie. I love the pattern, too!
