River Island at Nordstrom

I just found a new line called River Island at Nordstrom, and I picked up some really cute pieces! 

Nordstrom is always looking to add fresh brands to their repertoire, and they hit the jackpot with River Island! River island is a British street brand that’s based in London. They are known for their stylish, affordable fashion.   

Shorts and Ballon Sleeve Top

I wanted to find a pair of Bermuda cut off denim shorts. These are high rise with a looser fit on the thigh, and a longer length.  I love the cut-off hem and small side slit.  These are a 2 (US)/ 6 (UK).  In my stories, I tried them with a few different combinations, but it was so fun to throw on a pair of heels and a ballon sleeve cropped top. 

I loved the color of this top and I couldn’t resist. This is definitely cropped, so if you like a midriff showing you could pair it with something less high waisted.  

Denim Vest and Skinny Jeans

Next, I found the cutest cream denim vest that you can wear in many ways. Open, buttoned, buttoned all the way up to the top, and even belted!  

I paired it with these skinny jeans and it was perfection. These are high rise (sit at belly button) and are cut to lift and sculpt the bootie. They’re softer and lighter weight than your typical denim, and super stretchy so don’t be scared! When I took them out of the packaging I thought there was no way they would fit- I was wrong! They stretched to hold my body in all the perfect ways – so slimming and elongating! They are a 2 (US)/6 (UK). 

I wore the same heels but I tried them with flats too, and I loved them! They’re Perfect dressed up or down. 

From here on out, I’ll be keeping my eyes open for more River Island at Nordstrom. Here are a few more cute pieces!
